Vatican Secretary of
State Cardinal Pietro Parolin on Tuesday emphasized the need to
spread a "culture of equality" against racism.
"We are continuing to work animated by the teaching of Pope
Francis to spread a culture of equality," Parolin said in a
message to Italian bishops.
He was also addressing the senders of a letter in July to
Italian bishops against an increasingly intolerant culture,
xenophobia and racism.
So far the latter has gained1,158 signatures.
