Schools:Friuli,a multilingual class with the EU RUSH project
Didactic experiment with Italian, Galician and Croatian students
29 January, 17:08The European partners of the project presented in a videoconference the results and the future of the initiative, a research-activity launched three years ago by the Convitto Paolo Diacono, along with ARLEF, the regional agency for the Friulian language, and the Municipality of Cividale, and which subsequently involved some European partners with the presence in their territory of recognized minority languages, such as Galicia in Spain and the district of Rovinj in Croatia.
"The exchange and comparison between different regions - the organizers commented - proved to be the fundamental starting point for achieving the objective of to upgrade and retrain the role of the teacher in a multilingual way ". The protagonists of the videoconference were Alberta Pettoello, rector of the Convitto Paolo Diacono, Patrizia Pavatti, director of the Intervention Service of the Regional Agency for the Right to Education - ARDIS), William Cisilino, director of ARLEF, Noemí Álvarez Villa, the referent of the Consellerìa de Cultura, Educacìon and Universidade of Galicia, Victoriano Costas Suárez, principal of IES Salvaterra de M. (Galicia) and Marina Ferro Damuggia, teacher of the SEI Benussi school in Rovinj, Croatia.
"All the partners - underlined Alberta Pettoello - recognized the project's high educational value and expressed their willingness to go on with this initiative, which has already laid the ground for the integration of contents and languages within learning and school curricula." (ANSA).
