(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 14 OTT - Czechia is closing schools,
restaurants and bars after a record spike in Covid-19
infections, the government announced. A three-week partial
lockdown began late on Tuesday, with schools, university
accommodation, bars and clubs shut, the BBC reported.
In the Czech Republic there have been 1,106 deaths from Covid-19 since March, with more than 8,000 new infections announced on Wednesday. (ANSA).
