Germany extends virus curbs until March 7: government

Meeting between the federal government and the 16 states

(ANSA-AFP) - BERLIN, FEB 10 - Germany will continue a partial lockdown to fight the coronavirus pandemic until at least March 7, according to the conclusions of a meeting between the federal government and the 16 states. "The existing policies of the chancellor (Angela Merkel) and the leaders of the states remain in effect," the conclusions said. "The states will extend their rules until March 7, 2021." (ANSA-AFP).
