Covid: Germany, UK variant increased to 22%
Two weeks ago, it was 6%. But for now, infections are decreasing

(ANSA) - BERLIN, 17 FEB - The spread of the coronavirus's UK
variant in Germany in two weeks has risen from 6% to 22%. Robert
Koch Institut reported. In a meeting with the press, Germany's
health minister, Jens Spahn, however, underlined that, despite
the variants' presence, the country continues to record a
decline in infections. According to the Koch daily bulletin,
Germany recorded 3,856 new cases and 528 deaths in the last 24
hours. (ANSA).
