(ANSA) - MILANO, 22 GIU - Projects envisaging the use of natural gas and renewable sources already account for 70% of Saipem's order backlog. The E&C Offshore division has recently created a business line focusing on offshore wind, a segment in which the company has "a solid track record thanks to projects for wind farms across Europe and Asia." That is what Saipem Offshore E&C division director Francesco Racheli said, taking part in the webinar "The Future of Energy Sources and Networks in Poland", organized by the Embassy of Italy in Poland.

"Saipem - Racheli added - boasts a historic collaboration with Poland and recently won the contract for the offshore section between Denmark and Poland and the Baltic Pipeline's terminals." According to Racheli, this strategic infrastructure will allow for more diversification in the Central and Eastern Europe's and Baltic Region's power supply." (ANSA).
