(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 17 LUG - Although the country is registering a constant economic growth, almost half of young Romanians are concretely planning to emigrate in the future, the portal Romania Insider reported, quoting a research published by the local media Ziarul Financiar.

According to a survey, 47% of young Romanians have concrete plans to leave the country. These are young people who "have plans to leave, have seriously thought about this and know where they want to go," explained Dumitru Sandu from the Bucharest University, as quoted by the Ziarul Financiar.

Romania Insider noted that "over 3.6 million Romanians have left the country in the last 20 years. Since Romania's EU accession in 2007, they have sent EUR 55 billion to the country." (ANSA).
