Coronavirus:industrial production growing in Slovenia in May
But value and turnover still dropping at annual level

(ANSA) - BELGRADO, 10 LUG - The value of industrial
production and turnover in industry "increased significantly" in
Slovenia in May, but at annual level they both decreased for the
third consecutive month, the Slovenian statistical office (SURS)
said in a statement today.
According to new data from SURS, the value of industrial production grew by 9.0% month-on-month in May 2020 after dropping 11.1% in March and 16.0% in April. Also the turnover in industry increased by 15.2% at the monthly level in May 2020, after the 14.8% decrease in March and the 21.9% decrease registered in April.
However, compared to May 2019, the value of industrial production in May 2020 was lower by 16.9%, the turnover lower by 20.5% on a yearly comparison, signaling a decline in production still ongoing, SURS noted. (ANSA).
