(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 16 - The Czech Airlines today received the
support of their creditors, who approved the "company's
reorganization," announced the airline through a statement. "The
creditors' meeting also decided that the parent company of Czech
Airlines, Smartwings, should prepare its reorganization plan -
the Czech Airlines statement reads - The reorganization request
was filed to find the best solution for the difficult financial
situation of the company, due to the consequences of the global
aviation crisis following Covid-19. The clearance for the
reorganization - the company underlined - represents another
important step forward in the rescue process of Czech Airlines
to ensure its further development. As a result, Czech Airlines
flight operations continue until now on valid schedules."
