Authentic Friulano', Fvg food and wine in Bavaria

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 25 NOV - TRIESTE, NOVEMBER 25 - Tomorrow, at 5 pm, Munich, after the Luxembourg and Japanese stages, will virtually host 'Authentic Friulano,' an event organized by the tourism promotion agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia, PromoTurismoFvg, in collaboration with the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce. The aim is to present the typical products of the small region of north-east Italy. An online tasting is planned to see Friuli Venezia Giulia connected in streaming with Bavaria for a live experience of the Italian region's food and wine specialties.

In the meantime, the 45 participants - owners of wine bars and specialty food shops, restaurants, importers, trade press, amateurs - were sent a tasting kit of Friuli Venezia Giulia products, with three native wines, two whites and a red, San Daniele ham (Udine), Montasio cheese (named after the second highest peak in the Julian Alps) and Tergeste oil, produced in the Trieste area, from which it takes its Roman name. Well-known German journalist and gastronomic author, Monika Kellermann, will be leading the event.

With this online event, PromoTurismoFVG aims to keep the contacts established and bring the Friuli Venezia Giulia brand outside the national borders, thus increasing the business opportunities of the products of the entire territory. The aim of promoting digital tastings and events is also to encourage the sale of regional products and wines on this channel. (ANSA).
