Wizzair: half-year in red due to covid, passengers down 70%
Revenues and gross operating profits also fell

(ANSA) - MILAN, 05 NOV - Wizzair closes the first half of
2020 with a loss of 243 million euros and a 70.7% decrease in
passengers, from 22.1 m in the same period of 2019 to 6.5 in
2020.
The Covid-19 crisis weighs on the results. Between March and September, revenues stood at 471.2 m, with a drop compared to 1.7 bn in the same period last year. The gross operating margin fell to 17.3 m, compared to 607 m in the same period the previous year. (ANSA).
