Ex-premier and media mogul Silvio
Berlusconi phoned two witnesses after they told a court that his
bunga bunga parties were not the "elegant dinners" he has said
they were, the women said Wednesday.
Barbara Guerra, one of the witnesses in the 'Ruby Ter' witness
suborning trial, said "the tones (of the phone call) were not
very friendly".
Alessandra Sorcinelli also said she had got a call from the
three-time former premier 24 hours after she testified along the
lines of Guerra, but said she did not answer the call.
Showgirl Guerra is alleged to have attended the parties at the
centre-right leader's residence outside Milan 47 times between
March 2012 and February 2014.
Alessandra Sorcinelli is another of the young women Berlusconi
allegedly bought apartments for in the upscale Milanese Olgiata
district and allegedly bribed not to the t ell the truth about
the parties, before some of them changed their minds.
Berlusconi, 85, has denied paying the so-called 'olgettine' to
lie for him under oath.
