Papier-mache skulls were put on
statues in cities across Italy in a mysterious protest on
Tuesday.
The monuments were decorated with the skulls, covered by wreaths
of branches and leaves, in Venice, Verona, Padua, Florence,
Milan, Naples and other cities.
Many of the skulls had their mouths covered in adhesive tape,
leading some to think it might have been a protest against the
anti-vax movement allegedly being gagged.
