The whole of Italy is high COVID risk
dark red in the latest contagion map from the European Centre
for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), published Thursday.
This means that Sardinia, which was red last week, has now
joined the other 19 regions in the dark red status.
The whole of western and southern Europe is dark red, along with
Scandinavia, the Baltic States and much of central and eastern
Europe.
The only regions in red are Romania, part of Hungary and most of
Poland.
No country shows a lower risk (yellow or green).
