EU concerned about low vaccination rate in neighbourhood

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 31 - The European Union "is on track
to vaccinate 70% of adults, but we are concerned about low
vaccination rate in non-EU neighbours," the European
Commissioner Thierry Breton said on Twitter today, referring for
instance to Russia and the Kaliningrad region. Breton met today
the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda.
"Lithuania plays an important role providing key elements in the EU vaccine supply chain," Breton noted. (ANSA).
