Germany: PMI shows loss of momentum in recovery in April

Upturn in manufacturing production, partly due to shortages

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 23 - IHS Markit flash data for Germany in April "showed a slowdown in growth across Germany's private sector, with services activity stalling and the upturn in manufacturing production partly held back by supply shortages," IHS Markit said today. The Flash Germany Manufacturing PMI fall to 66.4 from 66.6 in March, a 2-month low. The Flash Germany PMI Composite Output Index reached 56.0, from 57.3 in March, another 2-month low. (ANSA).
