The Chamber of Commerce will actively participate in post-graduation orientation activities and recruitment by economic stakeholders.

Our best young talents have to be guided towards the best possible choice, and companies have to be well informed about the skills available on our territory. The relationship between labor demand and supply is enriched by a decisive institutional synergy. An ever closer relationship between knowledge, creation of value and wealth. Companies must perceive directly and punctually the expertise of the students who complete their studies at Arcavacata University. Unical and the Chamber of Commerce are two stakeholders that will continue to co-operate, by creating institutional synergies and promoting common paths.

Moreover, this is not the first memorandum of understanding signed by the University of Calabria, underlined dean Crisci - through the Career Services Office carries out orientation and placement activities for undergraduates and graduates, through individual interviews and guides them to work through the organization of the career day and recruiting day with national and international companies, as well as through traineeship and apprenticeship contracts within European and ministerial programmes. Today's agreement with the Chamber of Commerce aims at strengthening this link with the corporate world and the training of our graduates. Therefore, the orientation activities will move forward in parallel with placement activities, especially in the university world. Each student will be supported in identifying their skills and professional potential. The result of these activities, linked to the development of personal skills, must provide a basis for formulating a career plan and addressing job interviews with maturity and self-awareness. Thanks to placement activities, companies will meet and select candidates according to their needs, and candidates will evaluate the offer which is consistent with their personal characteristics and aspirations''. The Chamber of Commerce - the press release reported - undertakes to receive, at the University of Calabria, interested users and guarantees its presence at all Career Day events organized by the Career Services Office. Finally, within two months, an information desk will be set up at the Career Services Office, where staff from the Chamber of Commerce will be employed''. (ANSA).
