(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 15 - A 16-year-old Italian schoolboy on
work experience died in a road crash in Marche Monday night.
Giuseppe Lenoci, from Monte Urano near Fermo, died when a truck
being driven by a 37-year-old Fermo-based thermohydraulics firm
worker crashed into a tree at Serra de' Conti near Ancona.
Lenoci died instantly while the truck driver was taken to
hospital in serious condition.
"We are in mourning, desperate," said a staffer at the training
centre in Fermo that found Lenoci his job.
"The family is literally destroyed", said a lawyer.
"We have lost a son," said the head of his school.
After the accident more Italian schools announced strikes
against dangers on work experience, after thousands of students
protested the accidental death of an 18-year-old high school
student, Lorenzo Parelli, on his last day of work experience
near Udine last month. (ANSA).
