(ANSA-AFP) - WARSAW, FEB 23 - EU chief Ursula von der Leyen
on Friday said Brussels would unblock 137 billion euros aid for
Poland frozen over a rule of law row with Warsaw. Von der Leyen
said the formal decision would be taken next week. Poland's
former Law and Justice party administration had a fraught
relationship with the bloc and saw tens of billions of euros of
Covid recovery funds frozen over accusations it undermined the
independence of judges. (ANSA-AFP).
