Romano Prodi will be in Gorica on
May 8 at a meeting organized by the Slovenian Cultural Economic
Union (Skgz) and the I Visionari group as part of a program
dedicated to 20 years since Slovenia's entry into Europe on May
1, 2004. The former president of the Council of Ministers and
the European Commission at the Meeting Hall in San Rocco on
Wednesday (h.18.30) will present journalist Demetrio Volcic's
posthumous book "Riding the Wall." With him will be Mayor
Rodolfo Ziberna, Skgz Secretary Livio Semolič, the book's
editor, Paolo Possamai (Nem Group), and journalist Margherita
Reguitti. Prodi had been in Gorizia just over a year ago, a
guest of the University of Trieste together with former
Slovenian President Danilo Türk at a meeting on the European.
