Italian police on Thursday arrested
four people and seized companies and property worth 5.2 million
euros in a probe into money laundering in Calabria.
Raids were made in Calabria, Lombardy, Trentino and Campania.
Among the property seized was a hotel at the chic ski resort of
Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino, a factory at Lamezia Terme in
Calabria, and a yacht worth some 300,000 euros.
Two companies' assets were frozen.
Those arrested, who were placed under house arrest, are accused
of conspiracy to commit self-laundering.
