The fashion world is mourning the
death of Italy's Davide Renne, who had become iconic Milan-based
fashion house Moschino's creative director on 1 November.
A Tuscan from Follonica, Renne was 46 years old.
He died in Milan of an undisclosed illness, but he had been
hospitalised a few days ago for a heart problem.
Renne had headed Gucci's women's style office for 20 years and
had been appointed Head Designer for Womenswear on 16 October
with the task of overseeing the women's, men's and accessories
collections of the Moschino line.
He was due to make his debut with the autumn/winter 2024
collection during Milan Fashion Week in February.
