Heavy traffic is expected on Friday on the A4 towards Trieste, with possible slowdowns and queues near construction sites for the third lane, and on the A57, also towards Trieste, with slowdowns and queues on the Terraglio-Bivio A57/A27 section. Autovie Venete reported this, pointing out that the opening to traffic of the first five kilometers, out of the total 9, of the third lane between Alvisopoli and Portogruaro is just a short time away.

The traffic on the A4, according to Autovie's forecasts, will be heavy on Saturday as well: possible slowdowns and queues in the direction of Trieste approaching the construction sites, "with peaks that could reach on the entire managed network 184 thousand vehicles passing through." Queues and slowdowns could also be recorded on Saturday at the Lisert barrier (estimated 20 thousand vehicles passing through) and the Latisana, San Donà di Piave, San Stino di Livenza, and Cessalto toll booths.

"The forecast - the concessionaire explained - is based on the 7 percent increase in traffic recorded last Saturday". As for the works between Alvisopoli and Portogruaro, Autovie said that "In recent days, the workers of the contractors of the first subplot of the second lot began to lay the draining asphalt past the railway underpass in Alvisopoli along the roadway in the direction of Trieste. The work will be completed over the weekend. To allow this activity to be completed, the highway section between Latisana and Portogruaro in both directions will be closed between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m.

Sunday." The remaining four kilometers of the Alvisopoli-Portogruaro section will be completed in the fall.
