Queues and slowdowns could therefore occur at the Lisert barrier, at the Latisana tollbooth, and at San Donà, where the concessionaire's staff will advise the exit at the Meolo station in case of traffic jams.
Heavy traffic is expected on Sunday, also on the A4 toward Trieste, with possible slowdowns at the junctions for the seaside resorts. In particular, in the evening, at the end of the Frecce Tricolori air show in Lignano Sabbiadoro, there could be traffic jams at the Latisana toll booth and then on the A4 highway in both directions , due to seaside commuters returning home. The critical point of the entire network - Autostrade Alto Adriatico warns - will be the construction site between Alvisopoli and Portogruaro.
There will be a carriageway 'swap' in the direction of Venice from kilometer 461 to kilometer 454.
According to data collected by the concessionaire, last weekend, 175,789 vehicles passed through the highways (up 4.81% compared to 2022) on Saturday and 174,660 (up 12.29%) on Sunday.
This weekend, between 170,000 and 178,000 vehicles are expected on Saturday, between 168,000 and 175,000 on Sunday.
